    Why We Call It Good Friday

    Oh, what wondrous love is this — God made Man so that He could die for us and save us from our sins! NO GREATER LOVE! And this is why we call that dark and awful day — almost 2,000 years ago — “Good”. God made it good. He took what was horrific and brutal and unjust — and He transformed it into the possibility of new life for all of us.     Donkeys, Lent, and Holy Week (Part 2)

    Yesterday I shared a little bit about a prayer that I find myself praying on a regular basis. The prayer goes a little bit like, “Lord I’m an ass — but please let me be the ass that carries you into Jerusalem.” To understand where the inspiration for this prayer came from, read more about it here.
