Birthdays and Learning to Forgive
Yesterday we celebrated this girl! She’s grown so much since these pictures were taken, but her smile can still light up a room, and her laughter is contagious. You don’t see her a lot in this space because I decided long ago to try to give the older kids their privacy — but let me tell you, we are so proud of this young woman and just marvel at the ways she’s growing into such a beautiful woman of faith and integrity. Celebrating John
Today we celebrate John. It’s his birthday! Woot Woot! I figured this was the perfect time to share a little bit about the guy I have loved through thick and thin, till death do us part. Hooray! He’s been my right hand man (a.k.a. husband) for almost 20 years now😘. He still makes me laugh after all these years, but if I’m being absolutely honest, he has also been known — on the rare occasion — to make me want to break a slate over his head. The Day Mary Inspired Me with the Perfect Prayer
How’s your May going? Ours has been full of birthdays and family visits and lovely weather and it’s been quite enjoyable. Sometimes I find myself just surviving May — like I almost die in the middle of it — but this May has been a little less hectic. I think it has something to do with having another driver in the home.
